Our mission is to empower foster and homeless youth by easing their transitions and alleviating the challenges of housing insecurity. Through compassionate outreach and essential resources, we strive to offer comfort, dignity, and renewed hope, ensuring every child we serve feels supported and valued.

The Children We Serve
Our Angels
The foster and homeless children we serve are our Angels. Often, these children are abruptly removed from their homes with nothing but a trash bag, facing immense stress and trauma. We strive to give them something they can call their own—an Angel Care Bag full of love.
Partnering with community social workers, counselors, and caseworkers, we identify children in need, whether they are transitioning into foster care or experiencing homelessness. We support children from newborns to 18-year-olds, including those aging out of foster care.

Through our dedicated efforts, we have successfully delivered hundreds of care bags filled with essential items to children in need. By covering the entirety of Wake County and neighboring regions, we continue to foster a sense of community and provide much-needed relief to those who need it most.
Thoughtful & Personalized Support
How We Help
Through our referral form system, our partners provide specific details about each child, including their age, gender, size, favorite color and toy, and most needed items. We also include birthday kits and calm kits to help alleviate their stress and trauma. Each Angel Care Bag is uniquely tailored to make every child feel like it was packed just for them.

At Myra’s Angels Foundation, we provide homeless children and those entering foster care with carefully packed bags full of essential items, designed to bring comfort and stability during a difficult time. Each bag includes full-sized toiletries, pajamas, undergarments, socks, blankets, pillowcases, stuffed animals, clothes, school supplies, and more. Every item is thoughtfully chosen, gender and age-specific, and personalized for each child—because every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and cared for. No more trash bags, just a warm, welcoming bag filled with the things they need to feel loved and supported.
