Meet the Angel Team

The Angel Team was inspired by a deep commitment to support vulnerable children in our community. Recognizing the significant challenges faced by foster children and those experiencing homelessness, our team want to provide a sense of comfort and stability during these difficult transitions. By joining forces to make a difference, we aimed to show these children that they are valued and cared for, fostering hope and resilience in their lives.

Nicole Lane

VICE PRESIDENT

Nicole grew up in Bridgeport, Connecticut before moving to North Carolina in 1995.  From an early age she knew she wanted to help children and hoped to become a pediatric nurse. That dream came true when she earned her BSN at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1999.  Her first job was on the pediatric floor but quickly transitioned to the PICU. Nicole currently serves as a school nurse in Wake County.

Nicole and Myra worked alongside each other as nurses’ years before MAF. She will never forget the day in 2017 when Myra shared her vision of Myra’s Angels Foundation and asked her to join. Serving as Vice President from day 1 has been an incredible journey. She feels blessed to see Myra’s Angels Foundation go from an idea to a community pillar.  Nicole’s family is supportive of her involvement, and she loves it when her husband and 2 sons join her.
